Considered as a gathering place for hippies, in particular in Anita bar, where they meet to share a cup of tea or coffee, or even a meal at the Las Dalias hippie market. The San-Carlos church is magnificent and is really worth a visit.
If you wish to drive around the entire island, there is a good chance that you will pass by San-Carlos as the village is at the junction between several roads, among the ones leading to the East coast beaches such as Cala Lena, Cala Nova and Cala Mastella.
