Description: Cala-Llenya Beach has a deep, wide curve of fine white sand in a valley of sloping pines. The water shelves gently, so it’s safe for children. Good water-sports facilities, and several beach bars. This charming Cala-Llenya beach is one of the locals (Ibicencos) favourite spots who come on Sundays with their families for a barbecue in the shade of pines in front of the sea. Cala Llenya’s size is more than comfortable, so it’s never too crowded.
Anita’s ‘hippie’ bar in San Carlos is a perfect way to end a wonderful day at the Cala-Llenya beach. It is easily accessible and lies directly at the turn off (in San Carlos) to the beaches Pou d’es Lleo, Cala Boix, Cala-Llenya and Cala Mastella, Es Figueral and many more.
