Las-Salinas

Description: Las-Salinas gets its name from the salt works (or salt lakes), south of Ibiza, this beach is one of most popular and very trendy. It is vast and completely covered with fine sand and reigns as the number one beach with a particular atmosphere between parades (clubs) and good music played by the beach restaurants.

The very long, wide crescent of pale sandy Las-Salinas beach is bordered by pine woods. The water is crystal clear with super breakers that appear on windy days which is perfect for body-surfing. Good for adventure walks as the surrounding terrain is Ibiza’s Wildlife Conservation Area.

Without a doubt, our favorite restaurant is the famous “Sa Trinxa” where with a little luck, you can listen to a live a saxophonist or a violinist playing along with rhythmic music to put you in the groove during a sun kissed afternoon.

During the summer months, Las-Salinas is the ‘in’ beach not only for the wealthy and the beautiful, but also for the party scene. The bikini fashions tend to reveal more than they cover-up, and the sun-worshippers here are more than a match for the Baywatch beauties

< p>The rather exclusive bars play summer music throughout the day, and will serve cocktails right to your sun bed! The atmosphere and the beautiful beach more than make up for the generous prices. Towards the end of the bay, nudists, families, hippies and party kings and queens dance and chill-out to the groovy sounds all day long. Pure summer feeling…no wonder it’s such a popular beach!

We advise you to plan your holidays for an afternoon at Las Salinas, it’s definitely an Ibiza must!

Directions: Accessible only by car, follow the signs from the airport – direction to San Jose. Parking is nowadays quite expensive and difficult if you don’t want to pay.
