Carl Cox began his residencies at Space 15 years ago, eager to gather the greatest DJs of the techno scene alongside the new names. This party has quickly become a must-to-do in Ibiza, and today everyone knows Carl Cox, the English superstar. Every Tuesday is an appointment not to be missed for all underground music fans.
The doors of this techno mecca closing in late morning, Music is Revolution is a unique experience, a whole night to the sound of the best DJs in the world surrounded by stunning performers. This is also one of the few parties at Space where all the rooms are open and full of people, in order to enjoy this gigantic club. Every Tuesday also takes place the official boat party of Music is Revolution : Float Your Boat. “Me and Space have been like a married couple and we haven’t even really had that many arguments, it’s just been fantastic. There’s going to be a lot of tears ending it. This is it. This is where it actually finally does end.”
“It’s not that I’m walking away from the club, because Pepe [Rosello], the owner of Space, his contract is up at the club. He’s going to be 80 years old and will officially be out. It gets handed over to Ushuaïa Group across the road and its manager Jan will be given the keys to run Space. And once that happens, everything changes. So I have no desire to stay in that club for any reason.”
