Bad news for the biggest party animals of the island, local authorities recently passed a law forcing Ibiza’s clubs to close at 6:30 am.
Two years after the San Antonio bars were forced to close at 5:00 am, Amnesia or Space, known for their parties until late in the morning, will not escape to the rule and will have to stop the music earlier than expected. Other beach clubs and bars will have to cut the sound at midnight and to close their doors by 3:00 am.
Ibiza is however known worldwide for parties that last forever which attracts thousands of people every summer. Authorities are trying to orientate tourists to other activities that offer the island, not sure this will be the most effective measure…
This new regulation will not stop international clubbers to enjoy the party island. Amnesia’s last closing party played music until mid-afternoon, and it has rarely respected closure hours on Saturday morning after Music On’s party.
