Going out alone
Ibiza is well known for its parties as people come principally to party. Fortunately girls do not have to be afraid of going out without boys to accompany them.
In July / August, Italian boys arrive on the island with a favourite pastime of flirting. With their typical “Ciao Bella ” they are only there to flirt and party which may turn out to be an interesting evening!
Travelling around
Although it is very popular to travel around the island, it is better to avoid hitchhiking (girls) as you never know whom you will meet. It is better use public transportation which is plentiful and inexpensive. Reminder: no matter where you are on the island, the disco bus is there to take you to all the night-clubs! There are also numerous taxis that can take you where you want to go.
What to wear and NOT to wear
What should I put in my travel bags, you may ask? A question that we usually ask before any holiday departure. One word synonymous to Ibiza is: DARE TO WEAR!
Do not be afraid of bringing your shortest, tightest, most colourful fancy clothes, everything is allowed on Ibiza!
If you visit the island in May / June, don’t forget a jacket or a jumper (sweater) as evenings can get chilly. However, it is not the case in July / August when temperatures rarely fall below 30 °, even at night.
As for the well known “topless apparel” idea, it is authorised and very common on beaches and at hotel swimming pools. If you also wish to remove everything and go bare, there are only two official nudist beaches: Es Cavallet and Aguas Blancas.
Shopping
If you feel like taking a break between clubbing and sunbathing, there is nothing better than shopping in Ibiza!
Ibiza port is famous for its crazy and off the wall style boutiques. Our advice is to go to: Avenida de España or Calle Aragon in the centre of Eivissa, they are the best areas for shopping. You will also find local convenient stores there at good prices!
Some major addresses: Holala, Antik Batik, Harvey Musin in Eivissa and BSC, Pacha Shop or Tuck in San Antonio.
If you want to go back to the ‘70’s, don’t miss the Hippie markets : Wednesdays at Es Cana and on Saturdays at San Carlos!
But shopping also means sales! They begin in the middle of September and are very interesting, as tourists are gone after the closing parties and everything is at least 50 % off .
Now you are ready to join in on the festivities! Gather your girlfriends and take off for unforgettable girls holidays in Ibiza!
Through the years, we have in fact developed a partnership with all the clubs in Ibiza, including major clubs like Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza, Pacha, Privilege, or Amnesia, or clubs like Destino, Sankeys, Heart, DC10, Eden, Es Paradis, or Benimussa Park.
