San-Miguel is at Ibiza’s “front door” (north of the island), and is less developed with its magnificent natural landscapes. The village of San-Miguel is endowed with a fortress church that was built between the XIV and the XVIII century and dominates the valley leading to the coast and Port San-Miguel.
Leaving the church, discover the traditional folk dances every Thursday from 6 p.m. during the summer season.
On the main square of the village of San-Miguel, there is also an arts and crafts market (every Thursday) where only local crafts and souvenirs are sold. It will be a great opportunity return home with pottery, honey, watercolor artwork and more!
The village of San-Miguel has several small bars and typical restaurants that serve tapas and fantastic local cuisine.
From the village, take the route to Port San-Miguel, if only to have a look at the magnificent property which we call “Illa des Bosc” owned by Dutch textile businessmen.
Finally, by going towards the famous Benirras beach, you will find the Can Marça grotto which is a unique visit in addition to diving and sunbathing.
