Location: West of San Antonio, 15 minutes by car or taxi, 20 minutes by bus
Size: 800 meters long all in all, 15 to 30 meters wide

Description: Cala-Conta has fabulous views of the islands dotted around the coastline with beautiful cristal clear waters, making it one of the best beaches on the island.
There are two stretches of sand, one with a rocky coastline, the other, sand dunes. There is also another small cove, used by nudists which is located at the far end of the beach and can be reached by climbing the steps hewn into the rock. There’s no shade so wear sunscreen. The shallow water is safe for children, while more experienced swimmers can aim for the island offshore.
The views from the beach in summer offer amazing sunsets – so book yourself a table at one of the restaurants in Cala-Conta and enjoy one of nature’s most beautiful shows!
In the high season the beach is very popular and has become quite crowded, so come early morning or late afternoon.
Facilities: The two main beaches are separated by a beach restaurant with fabulous views – in the evenings various DJs play around these spectacular sunsets. Also, there are three restaurants which are a stone’s throw away.
Directions: Cala Conta can be reached by car, bus or ferry in the summer months. Follow signs to San Jose then Conta Platjes. Boat shuttles depart from San Antonio, approx. €7 or take bus line n°4 which departs every hour from San Antonio. The ferry departs regularly from San Antonio harbour and various hotels along the Bay. The bus can be caught at the bus station in San Antonio or along the bay road. Parking is good, but can get crowded in high summer.
